Improving Self Confidence Using Self
Hypnosis
Self confidence is something that seems to elude some people.
It seems that either you have it or you do not. With out self
confidence people suffer in many areas of their lives because
they do not trust themselves enough to take a chance. Social
skills are affected by our self confidence or lack there of.
With out self confidence we tend to have trouble engaging knew
people in conversations and thus making friends. At work we
suffer because we lack the confidence to speak up and be
noticed. Without speaking up and being noticed we are then
suffered to being passed over for promotions and
acknowledgement of our talents.
Self confidence can be obtained easily by using self hypnosis.
Self hypnosis will allow you to tap into that sector of your
subconscious mind. By tapping into your subconscious mind you
can alter the way you think and see yourself. When you do this
you will be able to see your self confidence rising and
carrying over into your everyday life.
What a great feeling it would be when you walked into work and
your boss asked everyone for their opinion on a new project and
instead of the old you just sitting there, you actual take a
chance and speak up. Now you are being noticed for the valuable
asset to the company that you have always been. You finally had
the confidence to share your valuable expertise, without fear
of being shot down. Self hypnosis will allow you to get to that
point in your life.
Or take on the social scene and the next time you are out at a
social gathering you walk right up to someone you think may be
interesting and strike up a conversation. You knew when you
walked up to them that you were an interesting person and that
they would be interested in speaking with you. Your self
confidence is high and no longer are you left to live life as
the wall flower. Self hypnosis can give you a full social life
by giving you that much needed self confidence.
It does not matter what you need the confidence for because
self hypnosis will give you what you need. There are different
ways that you can do self hypnosis to increase your confidence.
One way is to tape yourself saying positive messages and play
them while you are a sleep. Just make sure to only record
positive messages and avoid any negative words as your mind
will attach and hold on to the negative words. Some phrases you
can use are, "I am an interesting person", "I have much to
offer people", "I am friendly, intelligent and people like me",
"I am a great employee and they value my insight". Fit the
phrases to the area where you need self confidence. This method
does work for some people but not for all.
Another method is to sit in a quiet area and allow yourself to
become relaxed. Visualize a place that is peaceful to you. Once
you have become completely relaxed then inside your head tell
yourself over and over again your positive words and phrases.
You can also visualize yourself at this point in situations
where you normally lack confidence and in the visualization
just visualize yourself interacting in this situation with
confidence. Make sure though to say your positive phrases while
doing the visualizations.
Keep at the method of self hypnosis that you see working for
you and remember that it takes time to reprogram the mind to
hold on to this new found you. With consistency though you will
see self hypnosis working for you.
