Developing Tools in Goal
Realization
I spoke of this topic in the past, however I feel it is
important to bring this point out strongly, since it is a
hinderer or achiever in goal realization. Tools are something
we all have inside us. The tools we have require cultivating
and developing. Most times people fail to do this, since they
often miss the meaning of what the tools do and mean to
them.
For instance, did you know that judgment, energy, wellness,
self-awareness, willingness, risks, changes, and participating
are tools? OK, maybe you recognize the words as inner tools,
but maybe you do you know the meaning. I want you to sit for a
moment, think of each detail, and draw a meaning to focus. I
will practice with you to show what I find, and what it means
to me and we can compare to see if we grip the same
meaning.
Practices:
Judgment
Energy
Wellness
Self-awareness
Willingness
Risks
Changes
Participating
Now what does it mean. Is it just a list of words without
purpose? Let’s explore to see what we find.
Judgment: Judgment works in two ways. We can use our judgment
to think through situations carefully before concluding
results. We can use judgment to assess while reasoning to find
facts in opinions, ideas, theories, and the like. We can use
our judgment tools to give opinions without stating facts,
which means we are using wrongful judgment.
Judgment opens our mind to wisdom, common sense, and
intelligence. However, judgment could also lead us to
discriminate or reach a verdict.
Energy is our staying power so to speak. Energy gives us force
to continue ahead. Energy is our vigor that gives us that
get-up-and-go attitude.
Wellness is our physical and mental well-being, which requires
nutrition and exercise along with learning good things in life
to maintain.
Self-awareness is the process of knowing oneself well. It is a
balance view of self. Self-awareness is an honest point of view
of self, and an ability to use interactions with others, while
speaking frankly and with confidence.
Willingness is the ability to accept changes, take risks, and
participate in life. Willingness is a ready person enthused
about what he could learn. Willingness is motivation that keeps
the mind keen and complaint. Willingness is eagerness to move
ahead.
Risks could mean that you are willing to take a change on
something of interest with odds for you or against you. For
instance, you might decide to bungee jump knowing that
injuries, loss, or damage could exist. Taking out insurance
policies holds risks to you and the policyholder for instance.
You can never tell if an insurance provider will hold up to his
end in the event you suffer loss. Another example of risks is
buying a new home without knowing for sure if you have the
money in the future to pay for the home. We all take risks in
life.
Change is the biggest hinderer in the world. Changes include
alterations, modifications, and transformations. Changes can
mean varies in life, or revolutionizing. Change could also mean
adjustments and amends. Most of all change means difference.
Difference is what terrifies the majority of human beings, thus
hindering them from achieving their goals. Difference then is
change that leads to diversity and discrepancy.
Participating is the process of contributing something of self,
such as time to others. It is the process of partaking in
activities, recreation, education, and the like by chipping in
your two cents. Participating is also joining and involving
self to learn and grow to accept difference.
Now sit down and write the meanings and review to see how they
apply to you.
